Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the pizza sauce evenly over the entire surface, leaving a half-inch border.
- Sprinkle with a quarter cup of shredded mozzarella and a generous layer of pepperoni slices. Lightly sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Starting from one edge, tightly roll the tortilla into a log shape. Roll as snugly as possible to maintain the spiral shape.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 6 pinwheels (about 1.5 inches thick each). Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Place the pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are slightly spaced apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly, and the tortilla edges are lightly golden and crisp.
- Carefully remove from the oven and serve immediately with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can cook these in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 6-8 minutes. Customize the filling with cooked sausage, mushrooms, or diced peppers. Ensure your sauce is thick to prevent soggy rolls.
