Ingredients
  

Sausage & Glaze
  • 2 lbs smoked sausage or kielbasa sliced on bias
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp grainy Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes plus more for garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
Dipping Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the sausage ropes into 1/2-inch thick coins on a diagonal bias.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Place sausages on the baking sheet and toss with the glaze mixture until well coated. Arrange in a single layer.
  5. Roast for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, flip sausages, and roast for another 10-15 minutes until caramelized and sticky.
  6. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, and honey for the dipping sauce.
  7. Let sausages cool for 5 minutes to set the glaze. Garnish with parsley and serve with the dip.

Notes

For slow cooker version: Brown sausages in a pan first, then add to slow cooker with glaze ingredients on Low for 2-3 hours.
