Ingredients
  

Honey Base
  • 1 cup honey raw or pure
  • 2 tbsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Fresh Additions
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika optional

Method
 

  1. Prepare your garlic by mincing it finely and chopping the fresh herbs.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the honey and minced garlic.
  3. Allow to warm gently until the honey becomes runny. Do not boil.
  4. Stir in the red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, and salt. Simmer on very low heat for 5-7 minutes to infuse flavors.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the apple cider vinegar.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes, then stir in the fresh chopped herbs.
  7. Serve warm immediately or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Warm slightly in the microwave before serving to regain liquid consistency.
