Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix Devil's Food or Fudge preferred
  • 10 oz Miniature Peanut Butter Cups Frozen
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet
Liquid Components
  • 1.5 cups Milk Whole milk
  • 0.5 cup Creamy Peanut Butter Melted
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter Melted

  • Small microwave-safe bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the dry chocolate cake mix evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Top the cake mix with the frozen peanut butter cups and chocolate chips.
  4. Whisk milk and melted peanut butter together, then pour evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Drizzle the melted unsalted butter over the entire surface.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly bubbly.
  7. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Freeze the peanut butter cups for 30 minutes before starting to ensure they don't melt away completely during baking.
