Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs frozen French fries crinkle-cut or shoestring recommended
  • 2 Tbsp Cajun seasoning divided
Voodoo Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 Tbsp Louisiana Hot Sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Dried Dill
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • Pinch Cayenne Pepper optional, for extra heat
Garnish (Optional)
  • Fresh chopped parsley

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook frozen French fries according to package directions until golden and crispy. Preheat oven/air fryer to recommended temperature.
  2. Immediately after cooking, sprinkle 1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning over the hot fries and toss to coat. Keep warm.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, hot sauce, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and optional cayenne until smooth and thick.
  4. Place seasoned fries in a serving bowl. Generously drizzle the Voodoo sauce over the fries.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning over the sauced fries. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
  6. Serve immediately while hot for best results.

Notes

Ensuring fries are crispy is crucial. The Voodoo sauce can be made ahead of time. Adjust hot sauce and cayenne to control spice level.
