Ingredients

Slider Base
  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls 1 package
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef lean
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Toppings
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese sharp
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 cup crispy fried onions French's style
  • 2 jalapeños fresh, thinly sliced
Glaze
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley

Equipment

  • 9x13 Baking Dish
  • Large Skillet
  • Serrated Bread Knife
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain fat and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Slice the slab of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  3. Spread the beef over the bottom buns. Layer with cheese, bacon crumbles, crispy onions, and fresh jalapeño slices.
  4. Place the top buns on the sliders. Whisk melted butter with parsley and brush over the tops.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5-8 more minutes until tops are golden.
  6. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

For a 'smashed burger' style, you can press the beef into a rectangle the size of the buns and cook it as one large patty before placing it on the bread.
