Method
- Whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and crumbled.
- Add minced garlic and sesame oil to the beef; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add broccoli and carrots to the pan. You can add a splash of water and cover to steam for 3 mins.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and veggies. Stir well.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
- Serve hot over steamed white rice.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra veggies, add bell peppers or snap peas. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
