Ingredients
  

Rolls
  • 2 cans (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten, for wash
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 jalapeños diced, seeds removed for less heat
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
Garnish
  • 2 jalapeños sliced into rings
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough, enclosing the filling.
  6. Press a jalapeño slice onto the top of each roll.
  7. Brush with beaten egg wash.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with ranch dressing.

Notes

Add cooked crumbled bacon to the filling for a savory twist. Serve immediately while warm and cheesy.
