Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy (3-4 mins). Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients on low speed until just combined.
- Scoop dough onto prepared sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until puffed and bottoms are barely golden. Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth to create the glaze.
- Dip cooled cookies into glaze or spoon over top. Immediately decorate with bunny candies and sprinkles.
- Allow glaze to set for at least 1 hour before storing.
Notes
Ensure cookies are completely cool before glazing, or the glaze will melt and run off. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
