- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, milk, oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix).
- Pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Heat heavy cream until simmering, pour over chocolate chips, let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Dip the top of each cooled donut into the ganache. Immediately garnish with sprinkles, coconut, and gold pearls.

For the best texture, ensure your egg and milk are at room temperature. Use a piping bag for clean, even donut shapes.
