Method
- Pound chicken breasts to even ¾ inch thickness using a meat mallet.
- Combine olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and paprika. Rub all over chicken and let rest 10-15 minutes.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, parmesan, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking. Refrigerate until needed.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 6-7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove chicken from heat and let rest 5 minutes, then slice into strips or leave whole.
- Butter one side of each bread slice. Toast butter-side down in skillet 2-3 minutes until golden, then flip and toast other side 2 minutes.
- Spread caesar dressing on non-buttered side of each bread slice.
- Layer romaine lettuce on two bread slices, top with chicken, drizzle more dressing, and sprinkle with shaved parmesan.
- Top with remaining bread slices, press gently, cut in half diagonally and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, add crispy bacon. Store components separately for meal prep. Chicken stays fresh refrigerated up to 4 days. Dressing keeps for 1 week in sealed jar.
