- Wash the red and green grapes thoroughly and pat them completely dry with paper towels. Any moisture left on the grapes will make the dressing watery.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Add the sour cream and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined and creamy.
- Add the dried grapes to the bowl and gently fold them in with a spatula until they are evenly coated in the dressing.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight) to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, sprinkle the top with brown sugar and chopped pecans if desired.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Do not freeze.
