Method
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and half the paprika.
- Heat 1 tbsp butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 3 tbsp butter and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Whisk in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, zest, spices, and herbs.
- Pour in chicken broth to deglaze, then lower heat and slowly whisk in heavy cream.
- Simmer gently for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Return chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the extra sauce. For a keto option, serve with cauliflower rice.
