- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. If using raw ground turkey, add it now and cook until browned.
- Add cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir constantly for 1 minute to toast spices.
- Pour in the green chiles (undrained) and chicken broth. Scrape the bottom of the pot to release flavor.
- Add the rinsed beans (and shredded turkey if using cooked meat). Bring to a boil, then reduce to low cover, and simmer 20 minutes.
- For thicker chili, mash about 1 cup of the beans against the side of the pot or blend briefly, then stir back in.
- Stir in the softened cream cheese cubes until fully melted. Add heavy cream and corn.
- Simmer for 5 more minutes. Adjust seasoning and serve with lime and cilantro.

Serve with tortilla chips, avocado, and a wedge of lime for the best flavor experience.
