Ingredients

Slider Base
  • 1 package Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12 ct) do not separate
  • 1 lb bacon cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 8 large eggs scrambled
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese freshly grated, divided
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese freshly grated, divided
Butter Glaze
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar, optional

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch Baking Dish
  • Skillet (for eggs)
  • Small mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch dish. Scramble eggs lightly and set aside.
  2. Slice the rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the dish.
  3. Layer fillings: half the shredded cheese blend, then the scrambled eggs, then the crispy bacon, then the remaining cheese blend.
  4. Place the top rolls back on. Whisk together all glaze ingredients.
  5. Pour the glaze evenly over the tops of the rolls. Cover loosely with foil.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes covered, then 8-10 minutes uncovered, until golden and cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving immediately.

Notes

For best melt, use freshly grated cheese. These sliders can be fully assembled the night before (without baking) and refrigerated until morning.
