Ingredients

For the Wraps
  • 6-8 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb bacon cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 1 head romaine lettuce shredded or chopped
  • 2-3 ripe tomatoes sliced or chopped
Secret Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise full-fat
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp relish sweet or dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp smoked paprika
  • Pinch cayenne pepper optional

Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Griddle
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk

Method

  1. Cook bacon until crispy; drain and crumble. Set aside.
  2. Wash, dry, and shred lettuce. Slice or chop tomatoes. Set aside.
  3. Whisk together all Secret Sauce ingredients until thick, creamy, and viscous. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  4. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of Secret Sauce on each tortilla. Layer lettuce, tomato, and bacon down the center.
  5. Fold in short sides of tortilla, then tightly roll from one long side to form a compact wrap.
  6. (Optional) Lightly toast wraps seam-side down in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  7. Slice wraps diagonally in half and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Ensure all vegetables are dry before assembling to prevent soggy wraps. The full-fat mayonnaise is crucial for the sauce's thick, viscous texture. Toasting the wraps adds an extra layer of flavor and crispness.
